I love it when a (Black Friday) plan comes together.

I love it when a (Black Friday) plan comes together.

Hello, hello. Happy Black Friday. If you celebrated Thanksgiving, I hope it was a good one. It was great for us. My wife actually got downstaffed and so she was able to join us for Thanksgiving dinner, which was wonderful.

So a couple of things going on this morning. I'm doing just the lightest of work while my children watch some TV before we get our Christmas tree. And that's in part because my amazing brand person, Holly, has delivered most of the application assets, which is the stuff I'm putting on social media and YouTube. And I'm like I was excitedly awaiting them. And so I I'm making them live this morning. But also my Black Friday sale is live. And that's the main thing I want to talk about.

I should say I'm going to do like a more public, longer write up on working with Holly. It's been awesome. I gave her what I feel was a little direction and less feedback. And she just came up with something amazing that I love. So super psyched on that.

But this morning I wanted to talk about my Black Friday sale really quick. Not not I'm not selling you on it, though you can see it if you go to Casablanca.org. I want to talk about how it came together because I wasn't going to do one. If you would ask me, even as recently as October, I was not going to do a Black Friday sale because I don't feel like I have anything to offer. Like I don't think, you know, my my courses don't sell that well. Podcast Navigator, while I could probably put more marketing effort into it, goes in a direction that I'm increasingly moving away from as far as like showing people how to launch and monetize podcasts. It's part of my overall rebrand to focus fully on systems and streamlining things and automation. And then like the coaching stuff is not I feel like a Black Friday sale for coaching devalues the coaching that I have sold to other people.

But in brainstorming with my friend Brian, we came up with something that we're calling that I'm calling the unstuck sessions. And so I love the idea of asynchronous coaching. I think it's really flexible, especially for those of us who are busy solopreneur parents. And I was trying to figure out how I can kind of distill that into something interesting. And so my first iteration of this was, as always, focused fully on implementation. Oh, well, you'll get a clarity flow thing and you can ask questions and then I'll answer them on Tuesdays and Thursdays or Wednesdays or whatever it is. And I would usually sell this for twelve hundred bucks, but for Black Friday, I'll sell it for six hundred bucks. And Brian always giving me good advice, reminded me to sell the outcome, not the features, not the implementation. And so what I'm doing, I'm calling these the unstuck sessions. And I still it would be a hundred bucks a month as opposed to what would probably be closer to a thousand or twelve hundred bucks a year, fifteen hundred bucks a year for asynchronous coaching. But we basically get a 30 ish minute. This is I didn't include this detail, but a an asynchronous session where they ask the question where they're stuck the most, whoever buys. And I answered asynchronously, give them a plan to get unstuck. And then they have the opportunity for follow up questions. And then if we both feel it's a good fit, they have the opportunity to spend the other five hundred bucks for the six month program.

And so I really like this because I think that my mailing list is not necessarily primed to spend six hundred bucks on a Black Friday sale. But I think one hundred bucks is reasonable. It doesn't devalue my full coaching program and it gives them a taste of what they could get with coaching. And then it gives them the opportunity to lock in for longer if it is a good fit.

So I'm excited to see if this works. I promised I'd only send one dedicated email, which is out now. So we'll see. Podcast advent starts Sunday. So I will be sending reminders Sunday and Monday in the form of a hey, did you see my Black Friday sale? And then I have a plan to it won't be as good as the Black Friday sale, but I do have a plan to continue continually promote the unstuck sessions because I think there is good opportunity there. So we'll see what happens with this.

Traditionally, my Black Friday sales have not been super successful. There was one a few years ago when I was shutting down creator courses that I was just kind of like selling everything for really cheap and that ended up making me some money. But I'm excited about this as both a sale and as a product. And so we'll see how it goes. But I just wanted to give you the kind of behind the scenes look on how it came together.

Um, as far as implementation goes, I'm selling it with Thrivecart and if enough people buy it, I will pick up Clarity Flow because I think that is the best way to implement this. I've thought a lot about it and like trying to figure out ways, but just Clarity Flow, I think is the best for it. So we'll see how it goes. Uh, and I will certainly keep you posted on Monday. In the meantime, I hope you have a good weekend.
